The re:Invent Multi-Venue Problem
re:Invent 2026 spans five venues across the Las Vegas Strip: The Venetian Expo, Caesars Forum, MGM Grand, Mandalay Bay Convention Center, and Wynn Las Vegas. Sessions are distributed across all five and you'll visit multiple venues during the week.
AWS runs free shuttles continuously between all venues during conference hours. But each shuttle ride is 20–30 minutes. If you have 9am at The Venetian and 10am at Mandalay Bay, that's a problem. The smart play is to cluster your sessions by venue day, and pick your hotel based on where the majority of your sessions are.

Main stage keynotes from AWS leadership. Largest session concentration. Most attendees spend the most time here.
⚡ Caesars Forum — Major Sessions (mid-Strip)
Large convention space with significant breakout session capacity. Central Strip location.
🎰 MGM Grand — Breakout Sessions (south-mid Strip)
Builder sessions, workshops, hands-on labs. Connected to the free tram heading south.
🌴 Mandalay Bay Convention Center — Breakout Sessions (south Strip)
Furthest south venue. Worth knowing if you have heavy Mandalay session tracks.
🏌️ Wynn Las Vegas — Sessions (north of Venetian)
Also a session venue. Short walk or shuttle from The Venetian.

When should I book for re:Invent 2026?
As early as possible. re:Invent is the largest single tech conference in the world. Partner hotels sell out months in advance. Registration typically opens around May 2026 — book your hotel that same week.
What is the weather like in Las Vegas in late November / December?
One of the most pleasant times to visit Las Vegas. Average highs around 58–62°F (14–17°C), cool mornings and evenings. No heat to worry about — a very comfortable outdoor conference experience compared to summer Vegas events.
How long is the AWS shuttle between the furthest venues?
The Venetian to Mandalay Bay is the longest route — budget 30–40 minutes including wait time. Venetian to Caesars is faster at around 15–20 minutes. Plan your session schedule with venue clustering in mind.
